Czech car-maker Skoda shall possibly start commercially shipping cars produced in India to world-wide markets in the time to come, beginning with the Rapid sedan scheduled to be released on November 16th. Skoda Auto India Marketing Head Tarun Jha said that this car was particularly designed for the Indian roads and the set up will be a global one for the car. In the beginning of this month, Skoda had declared that they will start the production of Rapid at the VW Group’s Chakan plant near Pune.
